Description
The new Kawasaki ZX-4RR sport bike is one special machine. Engineers at Kawasaki set out to develop a 400cc inline four cylinder engine built for high performance, and they delivered.
For this special machine we used our AT2 muffler to develop a Street Series Works Finish slip-on giving power to the 16,000 + RPM's of the new Kawasaki powerplant. The AT2 came through in performance, sound, and weight savings. HP was bumped up by an increase of 3% and torque was bumped up as well, adding 4.3%. Our mission of adding power and torque throughout the entire spectrum was accomplished. Our AT2 Slip-on removed 4.5 pounds from the stock formation.
The sound of this inline four at 16,000 rpms with our AT2 is simply something that must be experienced in real life. True music! Finally, the styling of the AT2 can't be beat. It's now iconic matte carbon fiber end cap and heat shield compliment the lines of the ZX-4RR to perfection.
Our AT2 slip-on is proudly designed and manufactured in Chino, California.

I wish I could rate this slip on higher. The installation was quick and easy and it looks great!
At higher RPM’s the sound of this exhaust is addicting. I prefer no sound insert for the pure sound, however I do have to wear earplugs. With 20K sound insert installed, no earplugs is doable.

The AT2 Slip On for the ZX-4RR sounds absolutely amazing. Not only sounding good, the bike is running a lot more smoother. Now the exhaust sound in a lot lower in tone compared to the OEM Exhaust. The butt dyno says the bike has just a little more above 8000rpms. I will be sending my ECU off to get flashed so I can maximize the gains from the slip on. Also keep this in mind. If you buy a slip on for your bike it can cause your bike to run rich because of the free up flow on the exhaust side. I highly recommend getting a flash on your ECU when your add a new full exhaust or slip on.
Very throaty exhaust but very smooth sounding at the same time. With the baffle, at cruising speeds and under easy load is very similar to the OEM pipe and very tolerable, almost not noticeable at all. I could see myself touring long distances with this exhaust and not ever getting tired of the volume. But when you open it up, it comes alive and sounds amazing. Great quality, easy install. I don’t notice any difference in power but it does weigh a few pounds less than OEM. Would definitely recommend.
The Yoshimura AT2 exhaust is On the expensive side but well worth it sounds amazing got 20k insert in it's sounds perfect and not to loud at cold start. At Higher RPM sound gets even better. install took about 20 min. Would definitely recommend this exhaust to anyone who is looking for great sound and great look on bike over the stock exhaust. Look and finish really tops everything off. Oh another thing it is also lighter then stock and you can really feel the little extra power this brings. Check out the photos and video I posted. It's just something you have to experience yourself with the sound and look. Also customer service is top notch especially Joyce Zaan help with questions had all the answers solved any problems she is amazing rep Yoshimura has.
