The popular R-77 offers outstanding performance, thanks to being developed in the heat of competition. It features a trapezoidal design, which allows a large volume of packing material and in turn, delivers top performance. The R-77 muffler's front cap is MIG-welded, while the end cap is riveted using high-end 304-L polished stainless steel rivets and bands

Great overall product. Big sound love it better then my stock exhaust. Would recommend to anyone looking to install an easy exhaust on there bike.
Where to start? When I unboxed my system, it was missing the heatshield (rubber that goes under the canister bracket) and notified Yoshimura so that I could get one. One email asking me to verify I didn't get it, but I had to BUY one again so that I could ride. Not only is that horrible customer service, but the poor QC is evident through the system I received.
Further, the sound insert kit that is included had the small threaded retained that is spot welded to the inside spin off mid-assembly. It wasn't tightened down yet, just broke loose as I was threading the bolt in. Horrible quality there, on top of poor QC in packaging, on top of miserable customer service.
There are many good exhaust systems for the FZ-07, Yoshimura doesn't manufacture one. You should shop elsewhere to avoid the hassles I have gone through.
