Description
A new offering for the middle weight adventure favorite, Suzuki's V Strom 800 is our R-77J slip-on.
Developed for the V Strom 800 to provide both performance and looks the R-77J accomplished both with its proven performance and perfect styling. Available in two finishes, stainless steel and a beautiful blued titanium sleeve, both options incorporate a custom made carbon fiber heat shield. The stainless option utilizes a stainless steel end cap while the titanium version has carbon fiber end cap.
The exhaust note of the R-77J has a nice deep grunt to it that lets you hear it when you open up the V Strom. On the performance side this slip-on can remove up to 4.6 lbs. of weight from the stock unit, and can add up to 1.5% more HP @9,000rpm and 1.6% more torque @ 6,000rpm.
Yoshimura's R-77 J is designed, developed and manufactured in Japan.

After a good couple of runs the packing paper smell went away. The sound got quieter but better. I am using the spark arrester because it is required to off road. It didn’t seem to have that much of an effect on sound so that was great. I just purchased a new 26 DR 650 and plan to install one on it.
Sounds great but isn't so loud its obnoxious. Has that deep thump that all Yoshi's have. It is diffidently lighter than the stock can. It went together easily. Honestly peeling the protective tape off the brackets took longer than the entire install.
