H.E.P. Motorsports Made Impressive Appearance in Tampa’s Premiere Main Event

H.E.P. Motorsports was proud to participate in this past Saturday’s Supercross race in Tampa, Florida that supported St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. H.E.P. Motorsports also had its best result as a team so far this season with Kyle Cunningham, Ryan Breece, and Adam Enticknap all making it into the 450cc Premiere Main Event.

Kyle Cunningham (#44) finishes inside the top 20 during the 450cc premier Main Event.

Kyle Cunningham had another strong performance on his Suzuki RM-Z450. Having a bumpy start to the season so far, Cunningham was able to turn it around this weekend in Tampa to finish in 18th place in the 450cc premiere class.

“The weekend went alright being back in the main,” said Cunningham. “Definitely felt good to be back inside the top 20. We made some positive changes testing wise. The last two rounds have been tough with the weather here in Texas, I have only been riding on the weekend. All in all we made progress."

Ryan Breece (#71) continues to make mains, finishing in 20th place.

Ryan Breece put together another solid ride on Saturday. Having to overcome difficult track conditions throughout the day, Breece rode with resiliency and determined to get the job done. In his heat race, Ryan was not able to jump out to a great start and was forced to fight his way through the pack. He missed the main by two qualifying positions. In the LCQ, Breece displayed a strong performance and a good start, locking down a transfer position early in the race. During the Main Event, Ryan found himself inside the top 20 multiple times throughout the race, finishing in 20th place.

“Tampa was a lot of fun” said Breece. “The bike looked really good with St. Jude graphics on it. My Suzuki RM-Z450 had a lot of power out there today.”

Adam Enticknap (#722) makes his first Main Event of the year.

The fan favorite Adam Enticknap, aka “Seven Deuce Deuce”, made his first main appearance of the season. Nearly making it to the main the past two rounds, Enticknap was determined to get the job done Saturday. In his heat race, Adam had a rough start coming together with a hay bale in the first corner and forcing him to miss the main by only a few positions. In the LCQ, Enticknap had a great start locking down a transfer spot early. In the Main Event, Adam rode strong and finished in 21st place.

“For me it felt like a long time coming,” said Enticknap. “This weekend we put all the pieces together and we made it happen when it counted. Looking forward to the rest of the season!”

“It was a big step in the right direction with the series headed to the east,” said Team Manager Dustin Pipes. “We checked a goal off with three racers in the Main Event and we continue to fight moving forward. Although the track obstacles were simple, the dirt was very challenging. Major props to our Crew Chief, Clark Jones, for making critical suspension changes throughout the day to put the racers in the best position possible. I would also like to thank rest of the staff for the day running smoothly; Chase, Blake, Andy, Clint and Corey.”

H.E.P. Motorsports heads to Arlington, Texas for the second Triple Crown of the season. With the racers firing at all cylinders, expect to see Enticknap, Breece, and Cunningham to all come out swinging this Saturday.

The team’s Suzuki RM-Z450’s had special edition St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital graphics by 180Decals that originated from St. Jude patients. The team also sported Thor MX Pulse Powder Blue kits that displayed the St. Judes’ logo in the center. These race worn gear sets can be purchased at https://www.supercrosslive.com/stjude.
