After finishing runner-up so many times he was starting to look for a bouquet to toss, Hunter Lawrence locked down his first career 450SX Main Event victory at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
"Me and Kenny [Roczen] had some awesome back-and-forth," said Lawrence after the race. "Coop [Webb] was right there, Eli [Tomac] was right there. It’s pretty cool racing with the sport’s legends."
The Australian finally traded his collection of second-place trophies for the top step of the podium, proving that while everything is bigger in Texas, his winning margin was just big enough to silence the naysayers.
“It’s cool, but we’ve got a lot of racing left," he admits. "I’m happy to tick that little box. It’s a huge thank you to my team and everyone that’s around me. We’ve got an amazing group and that’s really the most valuable thing in my program."
In a recent feature that’s making quite a bit of noise, Chaseontwowheels put our RS-12 exhaust to the test on a '24 Yamaha Ténéré 700. In their latest build episode, host Chase expalains why a stock exhaust simply won't do, describing the transformation as if someone found the bike’s hidden "bass" setting and cranked it to the max. From a seamless installation (even when dodging a few muddy ADV battle scars) to the sheer joy of some very spirited flybys, the video perfectly captures the "illegal" level of satisfaction that comes with that signature grunt. We’re thrilled to see our system bringing a bit more "mean" to such a capable bike.

Jo Shimoda proved that "Texas tough" isn’t just a cliché by clinching a gritty second-place finish at the Arlington Supercross. Returning from injury with a vengeance, the Japanese racer took his RS-12-equipped Progressive HRC Honda CRF250R Works Edition to a massive holeshot, leading the field.
"I wanted to keep building my momentum from last year," he said after the race. "So I’m just happy to be here. I get paid to race and do good, but at the same time, a neck injury is pretty sensitive. I got approved by the doctors two weeks ago to ride again, but you never know until you’re on the bike. I feel comfortable and strong enough, and I’ve been doing the right preparation to come back."
