Compared to stock configurations, engine braking can be adjusted with different rate reaction springs. Standard reaction spring = 225N. For stronger engine braking, use 300N reaction spring. For less engine braking, use 150N reaction spring. These can be used in conjunction with stock reaction springs for a completely custom feel.

When installing, use same number of reaction spring as in a stock configuration:

• Numbers of reaction spring used on STD motorcycles
  • GSX-R1000 (2007-2012) = 4 PCS
  • GSX-R1000 (2005-2006) = 3 PCS
  • GSX-R600 (2006-2011) = 2 PCS
